Webinars
In recent years (especially during the pandemic), we have organised webinars instead of physical gatherings. These sessions focus on issues most relevant to Indian NGOs and trusts, including:
- Compliance under the Indian Trusts Act, Societies Registration Act, and Section 8 Companies under the Companies Act, 2013
- Labour law matters (retrenchment, wages, public holidays, Provident Fund, ESI)
- Cash flow disruptions and access to grants or CSR funding under the Companies Act, 2013
- Future-proofing your organisation (for example, NGO mergers or restructuring)
- Transitioning operations online and ensuring compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and data protection guidelines
Members may also suggest topics by emailing the organisers, and we will try to include them in upcoming sessions.

BI-annual conference
Our bi-annual conference brings together NGOs, social enterprises, and regulators to share knowledge, learn from experts, and network. Past keynote speakers have included:
- Officials from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, NITI Aayog, and State Charity Commissioners
- Senior officers from Income Tax (Exemptions) on compliance with Section 12A/80G registration
- Leading NGO leaders and social entrepreneurs
During the pandemic, our 2020 conference was conducted online as a “Charity Support Week” with multiple expert speakers and a Q&A session. More than 400 delegates participated.
