Webinars

For the past two years, due to the pandemic, we have hosted webinars (rather than physical events) that included brief updates on topics that were most relevant to forum members, such as:

  • Labor law issues such as layoffs and public holidays;
  • Cash flow disruption and access to funding;
  • Future proofing, including mergers;
  • The move to online – how to protect yourself properly.

Ultimately these sessions are led by what you need.Email Sandy Waters with topic ideas and we’ll do our best to feature them in one of our webinars.

Exclusive connect facility for forum members

Do you have a question you need help with?Connect is the place to raise an issue with knowledgeable and supportive people, all with direct knowledge of the third sector.

BI-annual conference

Our biennial charity conference brings charities together to share ideas, learn from each other and our speakers, and network with peers at one of the largest charity events in our region. Previous keynote speakers have included:
  • Lord Hodgson, Creator of the Charity Bill
  • Sam Younger, Chief Exec, Charity Commission
  • Rob Wilson, Minister for Civil Society
  • Stephen Dunmore, Chief Exec, Fundraising Regulator
  • Lady Edwina Grosvenor
Due to the pandemic, our 2020 conference took place via Zoom. We changed the format to run a “Charity Support Week” where we had a different speaker on selected topics for an hour each day, culminating in a question and answer session on Friday. Over 400 delegates attended during the week.
